By the way, the misery index is a bunch of estimated or selectively chosen data. It only just gives you a grossly simplified aggregate stat. It gives you a false sense you have a good understanding on the economic situations even though it does not give you any.
For example, unemployment rates do not include the part time workers or people who gave up looking for work.

This seems like a pretty bogus stat. Moderate inflation is a good thing, it means your economy is growing. Extreme negative inflation (deflation) would give you a really low misery index even though the economy is in the toilet.

Folks doing major business with UK firms are literally screwed. The Financial Services Compensation Scheme will not compensate barren claims against insolvent firms, it will compensate small businesses for their losses, but there is a 50 000 limit there, and its not per person, no no, that would be sweet, its per institution. Same for banks (lately there's a trend of going bankrupt rofl). Trickiest thing is yeah, banks owned by the same company/bank/whatever count as one institution.

Talk about ownd.

Also, one third of the Japanese workers are the contract or part time workers. So, the unemployment rate published by the J-gov is meaningless as far as the true picture of the country's employment situation.

Japan will be hit very hard with this downturn. Mark my word.

It is self explanatory, as you also posted the stat on the labor force in Japan. Sixty four percent of labor force is the full time. The rest is not.
