Very old forum messages here, but if anyone is still around...
In the mid-1970s I was living in Hawaii and we got some television from Japan. I used to watch a musical variety program, totally in Japanese, hosted by a male pop idol. Similar voice to Kyu Sakamoto but he had longish hair over his ears. He always finished with the same song, and since I don't speak Japanese I never knew what it was called. It still goes through my head sometimes, so I wondered if anyone would have any idea what the program might have been or who the singer could be. It would have been 1974-76.
