I am passed the monbukagakusho final selection
btw, I apply for Research Student Program in Tokodai.
I am sure IGP applicants will get the news in upcoming days,

I got my "official" acceptance letter today. Again, it was from my faculty's foreign office, so I guess when you receive your letters is probably up to how organised your respective offices are.

....i still havent got it...

Heard my friend in Japan saying that normally the results are kept (though already received) by the office until the announced deadline. It's kind of a way in Japan.

have you heard anything?

I have received conformation today, I did apply via university recommendation (Tohoku University).I belive all results are out, 21st June was the day of final selection.

Arghh, me too. I have to leave my iPod besides my bed so that I can check for new emails from TiTech when I wake up. Now every weekdays makes me nervous.
 
I have already recieved my acceptance letter, or email better to say to Hokkaido University. However it would be quite inconvinient if I do not pass the written examinations.
Only 4 days to go for the written examination...

I haven#t received mine too... perhaps IGP has different processing?

I also believe that they would release according to pre mentioned dateline

Is anyone starting to look for housing?

In terms of monthly mansions, The Leo Palace 21 website sounds like it's a great temporary to long-term set up. I was wondering if anyone has used them?

In the past I've used Fontana, and wasn't happy with the quality of the room.

Any alternatives you could suggest would be appreciated.

did you get the brief note or the official notice?
because they only sent me the brief note, not the official notice with some procedures (for visa, dorm..i think)
