In my case with Osaka University, my assistant professor said that Osaka University has received the result but they have not given it to the professor for some unknown reasons.

I emailed admission as well but no reply... I wish everyone got their results till end of this week... although, they say nominated students already have guaranteed their place in MEXT....

Haha... well mate... It supposed to be... but you know there are times even though you did ur best, some factors create unfortunate... For countries like america where chaotic factors are minimized to let individuals be as they are. However, I and others who are coming from developing or under developed countries, pray is the only neutral mean to calm ourselves down...Why is everyone praying here? Aren't Mext scholars supposed to be scientists?

Today, i got the result that my scholarship is granted so happy... I wish everyone successful path in their studies and future...! ✌
My university has asked me to take exam. I have completed my applications yesterday and dispatched. Looks like this month would be test. What I know is that it will be sort of interview.Hi all, anyone knows about entrance exam? I mean, in order to obtain LOA -after a nominee successfully passed the mext selection- should he/she takes entrance exam in the university, or it would be necessarily granted to the awardees without entrance exam?
Hello @Tepanyakigo ...I am also waiting for official result from MEXT. Last time I got email to confirm that I passed the entrance exam on March. They also mentioned that the result will be announced around end June but the announcement last year was delayed to end July.congratulations! I am still waiting unfortunately

May I know which grad school did you apply? For me, engineering (Biotech), Osaka Uni. Hope we will get the final result soon.
