MEXT Scholarship through University Recommendation

I, too, got a special recommendation. Our results will be released on mid-July (based on what my uni told me). The uni will receive the results from MEXT around end of June and will notify the nominees by mid-July. Reason for that approx two-week gap, I have no idea.

Anyway, my sincerest congratulations to b4lmung and Reni! For some reason I feel sooooo happy for you two Good luck to everyone! I hope the painstaking wait will end with good news.

Oh, and I need to tell you that the we will be given the scholarship from October 2015 until March 2017....

I applied to Nagoya University too, but I don't have any info... My school didn't say a word about when the results come out. Did your school say something about it?
 
I just received my email from my professor confirming my acceptance to MEXT scholarship in Kyoto University! (I guess there is no more need for me to apply for embassy after all..) Good luck for your results guys!

Congratulations cocoro! I was with Kyoudai early this year as an exchange student... You will love it there =D If you don't want to stay in the dorm, I can give you contacts of my old apartment near the university... Ooh, I just saw we are from the same country. Maybe when you are formally in Kyoto you will also get to know the KAPS people. =D

Cocoro, what uni aside from Kyoto Uni, Hiroshima Uni, and Waseda have released their results already? I am really getting nervous with mine... Wah.
 
Foruiz, I applied at University of Tsukuba. Still fervently praying for the result, though it will be out by mid July. God bless to us! By the way, congratulations Cocoro.

Hopefully, we'll receive all our results by this week or early next week.
 
Its really very disappointing to wait for the result when others getting theirs everyday.....I am confused about this system of releasing result by MEXT....why they dont release all the result at once................totally pissed off.......

By the way, congratulations to all those lucky guys who got their results...........
 
@M-Rana, I believe there's a valid reason why results are not released on the same day. Don't be pissed off nor disappointed. You'll get yours in time.

Patience is a virtue.
 
I just know from secretery of my perspective professor from Osaka University that the result from MEXT of special recommendation did not be announced. Wait a moment please and do not be worry to much.

The acceptance rate is something I am itching to ask my uni, but I'm afraid to overstep my bounds. Kagoshima Uni has a 100% passing rate for special recommendation though. Not sure if the same can be observed to other unis, but I am hoping for better chances!
