okIn the nomination procedure, the university has to submit many information to MEXT. One of them is the nearest airport which you will use. So, i think it is normal for uni to ask this question to the candidates.

I'm applying for MEXT this year through university recommendation. I'm applying for the Biotechnology Global Human Resource Development Program in Osaka University. I have finished the interviews with all the professor, got accepted by the professor of the lab I want to study in and the admission of Osaka university for master degrees program , and I'm preparing all the documents for the MEXT scholarship. I just want to ask you the chance of success for the MEXt scholarship :'( I'm literally worrying to death :'( the Prof. secretary is helping me to prepare all the documents though. Is there anyone had failed after passing the university qualification examinations? I hope that someone can help me in this issue :'(

Have you pass the email examination process after preliminary selection? If you have not, I think it is one of the processed of university entrance which you have to do.My prospective Professor told me today that if I get accepted, I have to take and pass the entrance examination. So he suggested me to prepare for my entrance examination....but I am confused that why I need to take the entrance exam if I get the acceptation? I am bit nervous yet about this entrance exam as I have no idea about this entrance exam.
After the submission of documents, professor gave me a questionnaire and I filled it and returned to him. Otherwise I did not gave any other email examination. From whom I will be notified after preliminary selection? By the way, what type of question it contains basically in the entrance examination and is it the email examination process? Hello everyone. Thank God I found this forum. I am also an applicant of MEXT scholarship university recommendation October admission. I have received an email from the graduate admission office of the university I have applied saying that I passed the selection process and the formal notification of acceptance and enrollment forms will be mailed on or after July. What does it mean? Am I selected already for the scholarship? Hoping that I'll be enlightened by your posts. Thanks in advance!

Is it a guarantee that I'll be admitted? Quite puzzled though. But Im really hoping.Acceptance by the part of university does not necessarily guarantee acceptance by MEXT. Please check whether you are accepted by university only or both. I heard that the result of MEXT will be announced on June.
Do you get the MEXT acceptance letter? I think, the requirement of general information might not guarantee that you are selected by MEXT but from your information suggest that you already passed selection by university.
