Got an interview this coming tuesday!
In our case, the interview was even BEFORE the exams... ^^" and everybody had to take the exams.
Yup, through email.

@ekoy: congrats! was this a personal email, or a mass email? ("Dear All" or "Dear Ekoy"?)
BTW, how do you know that they've come to a finalized "list" and not just that they are still considering applications, but yours happened to be at the top of the pile so they went ahead and notified your first??

Looks like this is the end of the road for me comrades. Perhaps, if the stars align in my favor, I shall yet see you in the flesh, unless of course, the gods have in their invention a better plan for me. except Ms.Yin missed someone out... but this is almost impossible.

Miao, Tomayto, Thetrystero, sorry for your bad luck. I understand how you feel because I were not accepted to the scholarship twice this year (MEXT is my third try for Japan's dream). It's so sad, but just believe in "Failure is the mother's success". I hope your luck (and mine) changes/change and we can find another door open.

hi guys.... my name is shaz...from malaysia... i ve been following this thread and the original thread for sometime already... it helped me a lot through out the whole process...i received the email from miss yin that im successful... im so excited...hehehe...
btw, congrats to the rest of the successful candidates...
im also quite worried about obtaining the letter of acceptance...my field is in clinical psychology... and so far most of the professors in the university don't deal with the theme of my research...what should i do? should i change my research theme to something that they would be interested in or should i just use that same proposal when i contact them?

Hello everybody,
I was interviewed last Tuesday. I felt the interview went very well. I answered all questions decisively and made it clear I had a strong will, a clear study program, and a great interest in studying in Japan.
I sincerely hope I did well. I place it in God's hands now, as the say.
