Hello Everyone. I am rather new to this forum and have not been to any forums yet, so pardon my English. Well, as the title implies, I am highly interested of applying for the MEXT Scholarship after my Junior College here in Singapore. Problem is, however, I am presently under a scholarship by the SIngapore Government to study here. I'm from the Philippines. As the Japanese Embassy would be screening applicants the year before the start of scholarship, I am afraid that they would disqualify me as by that time, I would be taking JC2, still under scholarship, well for the last year fortunately. Well, of course, I could not hide that fact as I would have written in my application that I have studied overseas and surely they will ask for it. Yet, however, by the time the MEXT scholarship tenure starts, I would have well long finished my scholarship from the Singapore Gov't. Question is, would I still be eligible for the MEXT undergrad as they strictly forbid other scholarships? Thanks
