What are your thoughts about the past exams (undergraduate) questions? I think maths is too easy .. But biology and chemistry are a little hard.. I want to know your opinions so i can determine the general level of applicants and focus on the subjects im worse than you.

lol, i think you should just focus on what you find difficult. Worrying about the "education level" of other applicants will only distract you.

is it in japenese or english??? and if anyone applied for computer science master's degree???

in interview they ask questions like why you want to study your chosen subject and why in Japan, why they should pick you and things like that. it's in English, but I think Japanese are also ok. not sure though

hi YoyoC, the application period started from March to Early of April this year.
I don't get any notification (for pass) yet so I was wondering has anyone got the notification.
If any of us got it, but I still don't, which means I failed so I will go for second plan.

i read some old posts, they will notify those who passed the document screening only for exam purpose.
they won't notify who failed. i will waiting until end of this month.

So I didnt pass this years MEXT research student.
So the next year here we go... this month I will reevaluate my strategies, plans and everything else to get prepared for the next year.

I'm new and registered here because I'm going to apply for MEXT undergraduate next year (this year I'm too young). And I want to ask if there's someone also planning to apply for MEXT scholarship next year.

By the way, are you preparing for it somehow or am I the only one studying like crazy about 6 hours a day on my summer holiday?

And for those who have ever applied, could you tell me how was it? ^^

I believe that would be research if your going for masters.
College of Tech. is for diplomas for IT and stuff like that.
Call your embassy and ask

Heey I've been thinking of applying for the Monbukagakusho undergraduate scholarship and I'm wondering how risky it really is to choose a field from the 'others' category xD. I was thinking of journalism because other than this, I'm not really interested in social sciences >.> ☝
