Well prepare your documents and keep in touch with us. Any way, you are running right on the way as embassy has driven you.

I'm third year of physics,
sempai!could you help me please?
what do I need as my resume for them to accept me?:?
Projects?or should I have been teacher's assistant?
Toefl?Ielts?or Gre?
are grades too important, I mean if I have a significant project in my works will that cover my not good past grades?
Ah is there possible to study there while not paying too much?

well,there's a certain private universities in japan that provide studies in english,personally i know three univ: waseda university,sophia university and international university of japan and if you ask me about the best,i'll say :the international university of japan,(according to my field of study) and they require a verey very high toefl score.

well,what do we all need to be accepted?(it's never guaranteed)
i think,firstly,we need to have a background reserach,i mean during our undergraduate studies ,certainly we've made some researchs,so,this could help us especially in the
interview,as a proof that you are capable to search,if you gain the scholarship
secondly,for projects,yes,there must be a proposal research to present.
for the toefl or ielts,i don't know,but i'm going to take the ielts
about grades,i don't know,in this case we need a former monbuchu student to answere the question
and for the last question,i didn't unerstand it

I am going graduate from Federal chinese Naval university, Harbin Engineering University. So I would like to do my sereachwork carry out from japanese national universities. so i am looking some engineering national universities to related my mean sereach either private sector universities. Hope, you help me ))

I see, I see! Oh, are you a scholar who's already passed? Or where do you learn international relations?
Umm, I don't know about universites and such (I read a few brochures about Japanese universites though), but I won't go for direct placement, so it's okay I guess. I leave the university chosing to MEXT.

well,for national universities,there's too many ,i can mention some: CHUBU university,NAGOYA university (nagoya is a very good university,that cultivated Nobel Laureates),& there's an engineering graduate school.

about universities,there are few which provide an IR departement such as; chubu univ,shizuoka univ,sophia univ,nihon univ,international university of japan and kobe city university of foreign studies

Hullo all!
I just found out this forum a while ago, and I had yet to browse through the bajillion of posts. (I just read a 107 paged thread in a local forum in one go *v*)
My name is actually Karyna, but some people call me Citrus *shrugs*. I'm currently majoring in Accountancy, already on the second semester.
I'm going to apply for the 2012 Professional Training College, learning about Animation & Game or Cartoon & Comic Art. Let's do our best! I'm still a bit nervous though; I still have to ask for my parents' permission because they want me to study Accounting in local University and get a 'real' job first .___. I hope I can make them understand that I've thought about this carefully and this is the path I want to walk on.
It has been my biggest dream to learn and live in Japan. Last year, when I graduated from high school, I didn't have the guts to ask their permission to try this scholarship, but now I realize that I'm not happy with my current life. I want to pursue my dream, because life is just once and I want to make sure that I had had a great adventure in it instead of just becoming a bored, not-really-motivated Accountant
(Not that Accountancy or Accountant are boring though! I just have no passion in that field, hee.)
Ah, sorry for rambling. I hope we'll be accepted for the scholarship! : D

Finally another undergraduate! Most of the people here seems to go for postgraduate or college student, I felt kinda lonely. ><
What do you wanna major in? I'm going for Social Sciences and Humanities, international relations major. (I guess its under law.)

I want to major in Computer Science or Robotics. Waseda is my top choice
I can't wait to apply. I hope I get in. The consulate near me usually has no applicants so i have a high chance of recommendation.
The exams look hard though...

Hi Karinkitoka, I am also majoring in International Relations! Have you decided on a topic yet? I don't know if they're keen on people with IR backgrounds, since I'm seeing mostly engineering, science and computer science students around. The fact that I am also not fluent in Japanese will be a disadvantage. But oh well it doesn't hurt to try! I haven't exactly decided which school I want to apply to but I'm looking around!
