But isn't there less positions available?
Hey i've just been doing more research into the matter of timing. This only applies to people wishing to study a masters degree and are required to sit an exam if you wish to do so.
yes , If i go i to todai, i have to do language course and it will start as soon as i arrive in japan in April and probably will last for 6 motnhs.. And i need to study myself to prepare for entrance exam on October. Besides this i will do some basic research in the laboratory of my supervisor. As soon as i pass the entrance exam in october i can start my Phd research in a full motion and then i will be a Phd student not a research student. Infact my supervisor stated this way : Because you can not attend the entrance exam in April (there are two entrance exams held each year,April and October)because it will be too late to register by the time you are here, i think you need to be admitted as a Research student first.so do you have to do language as well? when do you start that, and when do you start the research
hi younggirl, did you apply via embassy recommendation or through the japanese embassy?
What is everyone hoping to study? and also is it masters, PHD or research?
Hi guys,
Does anyone know when exactly the final results comes out for MEXT ?
I thought it was February, but some persons have already gotten final confirmation and have heard back from schools about placement etc.
The embassy contacted me in December and asked me to confirm my intentions to got to Japan on the scholarship as it was now in the final approval stages.
I confirmed and have not heard anything back from them as yet.
Do I wait till February to get that final answer ?
The wait is a bit frustrating.
