Mext Japanese Test

Hey everybody, I don't know much Japanese, but I would like to maximize my overall exam score. Will it help me any if I just guess on the Japanese questions that I don't know, and maybe get some correct by chance? I'm taking the social sciences undergraduate, so I think that I can skip the Japanese exam, but I will resort to guessing if I can benefit from it. Thank you for your assistance!
