Hi guys I'm having some difficulty with a passage from a children's book called 新刊くん けんかする。
The first line says that shikankun loves kantarou.

Is the story saying that kantarou will want to borrow things from shikankun?

The last line is "lend me this as well!"

What is the meaning of もってるものも?
Also why is there a dash after ぜ?in ぜ-んぶすきになって

しんかんくんは、かんたろうのことがだいすきです。
だから、かんたろうのもってるものもぜ-んぶすきになってかしてほしくなるんです。
「これもかしてよう」

Thanks in advance.

Haha. I think (I could very well be mistaken) that this is a play on words. Often, when you say that you love someone, you say 〇〇のことが好き (as you said). But the rest implies that こと doesn't mean personality, or attitude, or beauty, but the things that Kantarou owns.

もってるもの would be "things that Kantarou has (is carrying/holding)"

The dash in ぜんぶ is simply for emphasis; like we might say in English, "aaaaaalllllll".

Or I could be completely wrong since I'm so out of practice.

so is it more like.

shinkankun loves kantarou, therefore all the things that kantarou has also becomes liked and thats why he wants to borrow them. "can i borrow this as well?"

I'm pretty sure that the mark next to ぜ is not "dash"(ぜ-んぶ) but "long vowel mark"(ぜんぶ).

The meaning is the same as your translation, but the subject of すきになる is しんかんくん.

Hi guys I thought I would use the same thread as it is the same characters.
Shinkankun has just broken a mask. He says.

かんたろうがかしてっていってもかしてくれないからおめんがこわれちゃったんだぞ!

I'm writing it without kanji as that is how it is written.
My question is about the grammar behind かしてっていっても
I think I get the feeling of the speech. Shinkun is saying " even though I asked to borrow it kantarou would not lend it to me, that is why a broke the mask.
Could some please explain the grammar?

貸して
って(= と, for quotation)
言っても(ても for adversative conjunction)

こわれちゃった(こわれる) is intransitive.
