hello shanco. I hope you're still there. Miki Matsubara's personal life is a huge mystery, we know very little about her parents, her younger sister and her family in general. Did you have any contact with them after her death? Do they talk about her in a more relaxed way nowadays? I also wanted to know more about her herself since you were very close to her, did she comment on you about the shows she did and your goals? the fact that she "regretted" her music career, what do you think about that? I'm a fan of Brazil, I'm 19 years old, I was born on October 9, 2004 (2 days after she died) unfortunately, I only discovered her incredible music in 2022.

I just follow this group with keen interest because of Fahd Uncle who started this group back in december 2004 after her demise. I can only search for Miki Matsubara through internet only and gather all information through different social media network like youtube, instagram, facebook and other sources. Reddit has a good source of information regarding J-pop.
I've been working hard on language learning earning my way to go to japan. That will be a dream come true if I could ever go to Japan. Miki Aunty is the only reason for me to learn the language and to go to Japan. Now only a visit to Japan could help me gather more information about her.
I try to keep this post alive by putting random thoughts regarding Miki Aunty and will be posting my thoughts as long as I can

I keep searching for Miki San with different keywords to get more results. For me gathering info on Miki San is like searching for a long gone family member. Now, she is like a family member to me.
Miki San is like someone who your elderly keep on discussing and you ask your elders about her personally and her lifestyle

There is no official statement from her family regarding regret for her music carrier, however she regretted for not concerning about her health and avoided her health issue over her music carrier. This is my though after reading some Reddit posts.

Mr Shamco, Thank you for sharing that rare and ixclusive photos from these days. I was wondered when i found out that she had same Birhday as mine. I should take it as a sign and re start learning of Japanese language, i started learning this language 4 years ago but i gave up, but last two weeks i just obsessed with this idea. When found out about her birthday i i finally decided to learn this language, it's hard, with special alphabet otherwise another language but i'm decisive and full of confidence. Wish me good luck in this difficult way!

I am very proud of every one of you and I will never forget your help and support during the last 20 years until now.
You are all my friends and you encouraged me to dig into my past and shed lights on my relationship with the late Matsubara Miki.
I didn't want really to reveal so much privacy about our relationship because I felt it is between me and Miki only but when some of you asked me for photos of us I had to post some and those photos were taken by me with my own camera back in the late 70's not as some guys claim that I took them from the internet.
For God sake what such photos or even such a relationship will benefit me or add to me? Miki has passed away back in 2004 and I am married now and have grown up sons and daughters and also grand sons so why should I pretend that Matsubara Miki was my girlfriend?!!
I never lied in my life and will never but how can I prove that she was my girlfriend now after almost 50 years and what for?
We met back in 1978 when she just came to Tokyo from Osaka and our relationship was kept private so only my friends and classmates knew about it because at that time her music coordinator didn't like us to be together so he kept bothering us a lot so we seldom go public and we chose certain outlets to go to together and most of the time we meet in my apartment. When she made her first concert things became more difficult for us as we both were under heavy surveillance by her music company but we managed to meet together until I finished my studies in Japan in 1981.
Now after almost 46 years, this psycho guy is trying to show me as a liar and write bad things about me everywhere on the internet for no apparent reason other than that he doesn't want to believe that Miki was my girlfriend.
If he is a really fan of Miki he should respect her soul and let her rest in peace.
Once again thanks for everyone here and thanks to moderators here especially Thomas for their support and help in keeping this thread safe and alive.
