Yeah :P Everything downloaded unfortunately.. well.. Except for Le Collection de Merveilles^^ That one stands proud on my shelf^^ Going to get Le Collection de Singles too someday.. need to find it on Ebay though.. its out of print now^_^;;

Well.. Now I can get everything of Malice Mizer though^^ I have all the cds and Singles of Moi Dix Mois so now I need to move over to Malice Mizer :P hehe.. hmm.. think I need to get the rest of BLOOD and Schwars Stein aswell :P hehe.

Oh! I have fallen soo inlove with Sadness^^ These days it is my favorite Malice Mizer song^^ It is soo beautiful^^ And I really like that old poor quality which really adds up the charms^^
 
Ah! I browsed around youtube not long ago and I fell in love with Malice Mizer everytime i found something from the past^^ Some old clipps of the Tetsu copncerts aswell as some Matenrou and Girl'e videos. Is there anyone here who has some of the music of Matenrou and Girl'e for share? I would really appreciate it^^

When I listen to the old Malice Mizer I feel that this is soo real! I do love the new stuff too dont get me wrong, but It feels more like a complete strict theatrical piece with more sampling than playing instruments(except for Yu~ki and Kami, they did mostly play constantly during live shows :P) Oh! I want a time machine so that I could go way back and see the Tetsu live shows^^

I feel like floating on a cloud everytime I hear Sadness :p
 
Hmmm... I was wondering.. is there any info or anything at all on the last drummer Malicer Mizer had after Kami passed away? and come on people! we need to bring life into these topics^^

Anyway... I don't have any infos on the drummer... but I think I have 2 songs of Matenrou, so I can send them you if you still want, Fureya... :p

I thought they never got a perminant drummer after Kami died. If they used sessions they would be credited somewhere though.

Kami was never replaced; from that point on, Malice Mizer would only use support drummers (namely Shue, who is not shown in the band's later and final music videos, nor credited) and Kami would be credited as "eternal blood relative" on all their future releases.

I can't find out how much you guys have already discovered... so apologies if I'm just repeating something someone else said. The best place to look would be CD and DVD covers... if any one has them.

Yeah.. thats correct.. Shue was their session drummer after Kami passed away, though he was never shown or credited. I think there was some talk about making him a real part of t he band, though it never came through because the pains of replacing Kami "Their eternal blood relative". ...or so the rumor goes.. I would like though to find more about Shue himself as a drummer and not just in the content of Malice Mizer.

everyone loves Illuminati^^ I really love that song because its very nice to dance with^^ I would love it if they would play that song at one of the nightclubs here.. but that's never going to happen XD

It seems like Shue was just a, excuse me for saying this, nobody. I can't find anything specific about him other than "he was that guy who did the support drumming in Malice Mizer after Kami".

Well I love Syunikiss (Yu~ki !!!!) But I also like baroque bel air le ciel. Beast of blood. Gardenia.. Shiroi , brise ect.

Well.. yeah.. Shue really was nothing more than a distant shadow in the band.. Almost like " Shadow X" of Moi Dix Mois.. Except for the fact that Shadow X is credited and has become a mythical character of the band.
 
some say shadow X is mana himself.. But that is a diffrent topic..

that Shue never became a real member is because of they didn't want to replace kami.. They saw still saw kami as a member he didn't chose to leave :(
 
I can't put my fave MM songs into any kind of order but generally my faves are:

Syunikiss (first J-Rock song I heard!)
Baroque (and that was my second... ^^)
Transylvania
Je te veux
Au revoir
Gardenia

I also like Brise and Beast of Blood and Illuminati... :p
 
It's a good way to start J-rock! :) And understandable too... since Syunikiss and Baroque have interesting musical structures. 👍
 
I started by watchin the live performance of it... so you got the awesome musical structure alongside VK-ness... you really cant go wrong as an opening to a genre...


And I fell in love with Gackt at first sight... a damn awesome opening!
 
I love Malice Mizer... They are (or should I say were?) the best at what they do... I think my top 5 picks would be:

I just recently bought "La Collection des Singles" and I love it... It came with the 30 minute extended version of the Bel Air music video...
