OMG...congratz.... share with me how do u think u can pass the interview...sadly i didn't...sob sob
Thanks, Sakura. Sure, I'll share with u, I failed the interview once, honestly I didn't prepare well that time and took it too easy. But I want this scholarship so badly so I decided to try again this year.
For my experience, the reason why you want to further your study in Japan is very important. My english speaking is not good, I guessed I didn't deliver my points very well last year so failed to convince the panels to nominate me. This year I prepared all the interview questions and my answers in a paper, and rehearsed it over and over, is good to have a friend to rehearse with you prior to the interview.

If you plan to reapply next year, you can start learning Japanese now also, the Japanese Language test although is not compulsory, but you can show your determination to the panel that you been learning Japanese and at least you can answer the elimentary questions. Before the interview, remember to greet the panels, in Japanese like "Ohaiyou gozaimasu, yoroshiku onegaishimasu" will do.

Just my 2 cents, all the best to you.

Hi, i am desperate to know about the preparatory exam held at the end of the first year of undergrad studies.

What is the success of passing the exam?

Also, what are the subjects being tested? Is it the Japanese language only or includes Math, English etc. not taught during the preparatory course?

Does anyone has the same fears as i do? Am i being over-worried?
