Bonehead beef eater bull-dozes into carnivorous carnival
SAKAI, Osaka -- A carpenter rammed his car into a Yoshinoya fast food restaurant here Friday, the very day the chain revived its popular beef-on-rice dishes following Japan's ban on U.S. beef imports, injuring seven people......At around 10:50 a.m., the 63-year-old man was backing his van in the car park of the Hanwa-Hamadera No. 2 outlet of the Yoshinoya chain and mistakenly rammed the vehicle into the building......six customers and an employee were injured......mistakenly stepped on the accelerator instead of the brake as he was trying to park his van......The company was forced to stop serving the dish after the government banned imports of U.S. beef in December 2003 following an outbreak of mad cow disease.
