Love to love or love to feel good?

Wow... that is most certainly the wisest thing ive ever read in my life. Its more gracefull to think of everyone as a story.. with, of course, the beginning, events leading to the climax, the climax (I would think as A), and then the end. How do you find this type of read? Do you know her? Is that how you view the situation also?
I'm an English major--- so it's part of my job... I guess. It makes a very good point about plots moreso than relationships as many people assume... but in a fictional narative about relationships, so many end in A) ...with so little attention to what happened ---well, not so much WHAT happened but WHY it happened.

Love is just such a complicated thing, I remember the best advice my dad gave me about love was "Just make sure it feels right". I think in some sense, most people can tell if everything feels right, but most of us just kid ourselves and deny our feelings and intentions.

It's late and I don't know where I was going with this 😌

Yeah, I know what you mean. :-)

How do you know it feels right and not good?

LOVE HURTS??? aint that the truth, if you truely love someone it hurts everyday to think that it might not be forever, when you don't really love someone you don't care where they are or what they are doing. When you are in love I feel there is a constant feeling of is this forever or will it end!!!!!!!! but thats just my opinion

"Love to love or love to feel good?"

I've been thinking, but I'm not sure I know what love is...

Anyway, even so, I think it's mostly the same thing... if it is actually 'love'. Of course there is the biological thing, which is feeling good, but that's really sex, isn't it, when it boils down to it? If you love someone and they love you also, you both feel good. :-) Of course, if you have unrequited love, that feels bad, but I'm thinking of situations in which both people love...

I think they are the same. I think if you try to be too altruistic and 'love to love', you might end up trying to kid yourself you 'love' someone out of pity, or because there is some other reason you think you 'ought' to. In a good relationship I think it's the same thing.

However, just 'love to feel good' can become a selfish thing if you only 'love' the other person because you get a good feeling... that's only caring about yourself and not really about them... I'd say that isn't really 'love' at all. But I don't think that's what you meant in the OP. :p

I don't know if I want to fall in love now. ☝ It shouldn't hurt all the time like you say, should it? Shouldn't it be the most awesome thing ever as opposed to the most painfull thing ever?

I thought love was joyfull and full of 'surprises'

Well love to feel good isn't just teh hawt passionate sex. When it gets down to it.. I guess it could be being intoxicated together/partying together, the happiness of just sitting next to eachother/cuddling/sleeping next to eachother only to wake up and see them sleeping like a wittew cutie, or going through a lot of **** together. Right? :? Im not exactly sure myself.

If love only goes one way, then love to feel good is most certainly a selfish thing and of course if you laugh yourself into loving someone because you think its right, you get nothing out of it. Its like you are just standing there while someone pours their heart out on you. Its wrong.
