Looking for Japanese friend Rentaro Yoshizawa.

Hi, I just signed up, a japanese friend of mine isn't responding on social media anymore and I can't find anything else related to his name on Google. His last post is from September 2019 and I think he lived in Kyoto. I tried contacting his Instagram followers but the majority isn't even responding. I'm thinking he might be dead.
Can I check death notices or something online?
