Looking for a long lost friend

Im not sure where to begin. We had an awesome exchange student who I would regularly exchange letters with over the years. We moved to a different state about 8 years ago & I have lost contact with her & I dont know where to begin a search. Any help/ideas would be wonderful!

I do have her old address but Im sure she has moved. She was in school to become a nurse at the time. I tried all I knew to find her on ther internet (google, email look up)with no luck. Im really sad about it.

Maybe people at her old address might have some information. If you have an idea about which area she lived in you could also contact the local authority to see if they could help.
