Actually, I know what it means, but I don't know the English off hand. I never learned it through the medium of English, so I never really considered what it might be in English. The fact, too, that I usually don't think of it in terms of a word, but rather a phrase doesn't help much, either! LOL

I guess I better offer a new word to keep the thread on track:

魔王 まおう Um...kind of a devil of sorts...(This game is so much easier when you don't have to translate your words! lol)

銀行は、ひらがなで ぎんこう と書くので、う でいきます。

裏口入学 うらぐち にゅうがく uraguchi (backdoor) nyuugaku (entering a school) = getting yourself admitted to a school by bribing the official/s.

Luke, you can use 言葉、単語 (A single word. Unlike 言葉, it cannot mean "language") or 表現 (an expression).
