Let's play a Shiritori Game - Japanese word game

遠い とおい ← Far

Just for the character Count...

ボー
Taking the meaning as Bow. And Put in Katakana because 'boo' is close to bow, so i did, hope it is correct. Whoever writes next, remember to start with
お(オ)o.

heyy.. I thought u use the last 2 kana's of the last word to make a new word... and the whole point of the game is to do it within a certain amount of time... but I guess since most of us are all beginners we can take our time ^^

There are many ways to play shiritori. This way on this thread is the most "orthodox."

オナラ flatulence (a fart)

ラブアフェア / るぶあふぇあ rubuafea (love affair)
Didn't know if it was to be put in katakana or hiragana. Put it in both.

Start with an 'a'

your word had to start with a ra, not a ru...
They just mis-wrote the hiragana.

愛知万博
あいちばんぱく
Aichi-ken's world expo

Sumimasen.
I don't know the word, and I was just doing what the game says, so, you know.
I'll let someone else have a go. Even though I got a great one for that.

Well, let's try this one then:
草 (くさ) kusa - grass

いいえ
That's Wrong

Couldn't be bothered to think of something brilliant...

映画(えいが) - movie

doinkdoinkdoinkdoink...

Hahahaha, you're clever, Joe! ≧▽≦

ちち (父/father)

tsubasa
Wings

Sorry, I don't have an IME at work, techies wouldn't let me have it

Sabishi
さびし
-sad

(let me know if I write it ok or not.

Arc2004 you can't end with an ん、 as no words start with an n. It stated at the beggining of this game you couldn't do it. Please do it correctly next time. I will start from Dutch Baka's 'sabishi'

偲ぶ (しのぶ)
Shinobu
to remember
