Hi there.

This is my last post on Jref.

I have recently moved onto around 60 hours a week of working (to sustain myself) and so have no time to come online anymore.

However, although I am leaving, my younger brother (who has moved in with me for the time being) will possibly be spending some time online. (his account is black_whispers)

I would like to thank many of you, but there are too many to name. Especially Uncle_frank, mars_man and epigene, as all my dealings with these members have been warm and helpful. To everyone else, thank you for making my time here on Jref absolutely magical :)

Goodbye.

Joseph Rothwell

(I know it is often stupid to do this, but here is my email for any member to contact me on: (contact my brother or Uncle Frank for my E-Mail if you want)

There probably isn't much sense in replying to this if you're not gonna be online to read it but in case your brother will relay it. ^^;

Take care! Hope you'll be back some time!
60 hours a week is just mad!
Man is not a machine so try to take your time to rest too!

We have way to many spammers here..............

to post your E-Mail. I took it out and anyone who wants it can contact me our your brother. Over the past year or so I have banned over 500 spammers. Many still come on line to read posts; don't want them to bomb your E-Mail with junk.

Uncle Frank

I guess this post is too late to do any good, but....

wouldn't it have been better to have your account remain open than have the team "ban" it for you? I mean, just in case you ever decide to come back on a day off or when your work situation (hopefully) settles down.

Oh well...good luck and good bye!

We talked about it.................

I promised him I would un-ban him anytime he requested. Changed my will so if I die, my estate lawer will un-ban him. He's covered for life.

Uncle Frank

😊

I am not quite clear as to why would you want to close/deactivate your account upon leaving JREF for a long period of time. Is there a downside to just leave it as is? It is not like there is a monthly fee for the membership.... I don't really see the point unless you have a beef with JREF and just the thought of having your membership here makes you uncomfortable.
