Last movie you have seen

Just done watching Déjà vu with Denzel Washington.



A ferry filled with crewmen from the USS Nimitz and their families was blown up in New Orleans on Mardi Gras. BATF Doug Carlin is brought in to assist in the massive investigation, and gets attached to an experimental FBI surveillance unit, one that uses spacefolding technology to directly look back a little over four days into the past. While tracking down the bomber, Carlin gets an idea in his head: could they use the device to actually travel back in time and not only prevent the bombing but also the murder of a local woman whose truck was used in the bombing?

I enjoyed this movie and it was pretty exiting and thrilling...I kinda expected it wouldn't be a good movie when watching the first 60 minutes, but at the end it sure is a movie worth watching. There was another movie with Denzel once where a killer could get into the minds of people he touched (I forgot the name of that film, but the killer sings always the line "Time is on my side, yes it is...") and this one kinda has the same atmosphere according to me.
 
I watched Deja vu yesterday, and I also liked it. I just love seeing Denzel washington acting. Great actor!
 
Yeah, he sure is. One of my favorite black actors of all time to. About any role he plays he fits in well, although I prefer him in Thrillers and Dramas.
 
hmm. last movie I saw, Rose red I belive. but I never saw hole of it beacause it's in three parts. but awesome movie
 
i just saw 'suicide club'... i don't completely understand the ending, and after the first 2 minutes i wished i hadn't started watching it because it was all bloody and creepy and meeeeeeh... child idols+jpop+cults+suicide = terrifying. but i couldn't stop because i had to know what happened! it's grown on me... but i'm still confused about some things. guess i better watch the sequel @_@ damn! i've been brainwashed!
 
Watched "The Wind that Shakes the Barley" lastnight - excellent movie.

Set in Ireland in 1920-22 when it was still under British rule, it tells of two brothers who join the Republican cause and eventually end up on opposite sides of the battle. So sad, but so well acted. Cillian Murphy is brilliant!

 


It's a shocking weird movie, that also brainwashed me for a day... Don't let your parents watch it haha.
 
Watched "Yojimbo" starring the legendary Toshiro Mifune last night. That was absolutely awesome stuff! I may just add that to my video collection!

then you really have to try Zatoichi meets yojimbo

its a great performance of katsu shintaro as zatoichi and Toshiro Mifune as yojimbo
 
I watched 'The Taste of Tea' last night. It was a great movie!
 
Watched Two fort the Money a couple of days ago, and it was, uff, great, shows the real side of sports gambling.

Last film I saw at the cinema was Pirates of the Caribbeen 2, along with my wife and daughter.

Am currently watching I, Robot with Will Smith. Very good film that makes you think about our possible future.
 
Yesterday I saw, pirates of the carribean 3. It's a good movie, but too many bad jokes.
 
I see recently "Spider-man 3" this movie totally sucks!!
i prefer "pirates of the caribean 3"
 
Just watched Tomie: Beginning



Well...ahum...so like, it's about this teenage girl Tomie Kawakami, who arrived in school and right after her first day she manages to make all boys crazy about her (no this isn't porn...stop drooling and read further >_>), so then the girls in class don't take that and seek revenge (they kill her). Tomie gives it right back at them and in no time she controls everything, except for one girl who she is close with and "friends" with. (just friends damnit...I said it's not porn) Also after they murder her, they cut Tomie in 38 pieces...then revenge starts.

Okays, I'll stop there for two reasons 1: there isn't much more to say about it reely and 2: This movie sucks anyways...the cover looks great and that's about it...although Rio Matsumoto who plays Tomie is pretty hot.

Last film I went to see at the Cinema was Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Would have been nice to have seen the entire film in one go but the projector decided to overheat twice, right in the middle of crucial moments of the film.
Guess I will have to wait for the DVD to come out, so my family can see the film from start to finish.
 
Recent movies I've seen are:

2. 1408

As for DVD, the recent I've seen is Tales of the Earthsea by Hayao Miyazaki's son.

All I can say is, he needs more experience in the craft. The movie isn't bad but it isn't good either. It's a 'So-So' kind of movie, which could entail some room for improvement.
 
I went to see Rush Hour 3 a week or two ago in the theater. Chris Tucker's character can be pretty funny at times. Overall a pretty decent action/comedy.

Last one at the cinema was Transformers. Pretty much no-brainer of a film, but enjoyable fun, slightly ruined by the father and son a couple of rows behind who shouted out the name of every robot that appeared

Last one on DVD was Porco Rosso. I'm re-watching all my Ghibli at the moment
 
Am currently watching The Transporter for the first time. so far it doesnt look too bad, nice car chase at the beginning. Now seeing how the film turns out.
 
After watching The Transporter last night I must see it again as its good, I would recommend people to see it.

Am currently watching Once upon a Time in Mexico, for the first time. Knowing its the last in the trilogy of films and is the follow on to Desperado I have been waiting to see this film for some time.
 
The last Movie's I watched (since I watched them praticually at the same time) was Resident Evil Extinction and Death Trance...
