La vita ティ bella
Not Japan-related, but last night my wife and I watched Roberto Beligni's "La vita ティ bella" (Life is beautiful). I know, pretty late, but since we're too lazy to go to cinema, we wait for TV screenings, lol.
Anyhow, the movie left us both very impressed with its humour, optimism and empathy. Benigni is a great (someone called him "Chaplinesque") actor and director, his three Academy Awards and countless other prizes are well deserved.
Has anyone seen Life is Beautiful? I really recommend it.
