Actor Ken Watanabe marries actress Kaho Minami


Actor Ken Watanabe and actress Kaho Minami have married, according to a fax message sent to news organizations on Wednesday.

Watanabe, 46, who is now staying in New York, and Minami, 41, are expected to announce their marriage at a joint news conference later this month after he returns home. They registered their marriage with a local government last Saturday.

"Both of us have overcome some hardships," they said in the fax message in an apparent reference to their divorces. "Recently, we've had a calm and moderate time." (Mainichi)
