Because of a question in another thread I made this:
flodata.se/david/kana.jpg

Since it only took a couple of minutes I thought I would make one with a couple of kanji as well. I decided to make 12, one for each month, with the 2042 kanji presented in James Heisig's Remembering the Kanji. I have only made the first one yet to see if there is any interest in using them:

So, in a year from now you could now them all 👍
(Well, if you own the book and follow it you should be able to finish more than one wallpaper a month actually).

Please tell me what you think.

Well, at least I am interested ! But, I must first study seriously my kanas ;)

Thanks anyway for the good work ! :-)

Very nice backgrounds!!
just a thought, would it be better if the Kanji one had the the meanings in kana & romanji? :?

Yo David...(hehe sounds funny...talking to yourself :p) ....nice work man ! 👍

I really like it as I've started using the Heisig "way". Thanks!

I'm glad you guys like it. I did 2 more, they can also be found at:

They only take about 5 minutes to make so I will make the others as well but I'm going to Greece for a week today, so it will have to wait until I get back. :atsui:

じゃあ、また来週ね!

Nice wallpapers indeed
I did/am doing something similar
I have generated a series of images of kanji to be used as wallpapers, the images are not very fancy, very utilitarian in fact. But it has ON and KUN yomi and the meanings. I will add stroke count and other info later. Also, I found a program to cycle the images every few minutes so there is always a fresh kanji wallpaper.
I use an Access database and VBA to generate the images from edict kanji list.
