I wanted to know how to create the j-pop or j-rock fashion for myself. I'm mostly goth but I want to add some j-fashion to my closet. I live in the U.S where there aren't many exaples of j-pop/j-rock fashion. Any tips or advice?

are you finally going to follow my advice?

good job!! i'm sure it fits you, try to google for 'gothica lolita' (america) and maybe you find a shop in your neighbourhood otherwise in New York there they have some but they are quiet expensive.

Hehe, I got that a little time ago, I didn't knew what to wear because I didn't like my 'normal' clothes anymore, so I looked at some decora photo's on a french site [ they have a gallery with lots of diffrent styles in Jpop/Jrock scene, like visual Kei.] so I changed my older clothes into new ones by putting up accesiores xD. Maybe that's an idea too, and a lot cheaper

Well you are albe to buy some from www.fanplusfriend.com its a chinese web shop.
annnddd Well try to de what H=l said. Just assesoiries.. And well.. I make alot myself..ESpacially armwarmers and stuf like that.. AQnd compare it with stuf from standart shops. Like I have A Uruha-like pants from Londen, Compared with a shirt from Jeneffer (france but the shop is in more country's just not in the netherlands) And I made the armwarmers myzelf.
Or Just a black jeans. And were it with various studs belts like Reita does..
and of course loose tie's also easy to get..

I definitely go with the 'making it yourself' thing, it is a lot cheaper and you can get clothes that no one else has. You can look for some ideas on jrock photos etc. and find plain clothes the same basic shape (e.g. baggy, black pants, or whatever you want) and sew decoration to it, or make rips in it, or cut things off and add other fabric... or anything to customise it.
