how come with the japanese girls i met when we went out i order food at some fast food sushi place -you have to pay first before they give you the meal . i pay for both of us and when we sit down the jp girls i went out with afterwards give me the amount that i paid.
this can be for movie too. the clerk charges for 2 ppl so i pay 22 and then the girl give me back then 11 back while we take th esclators up. they actually taking their wallet out and giving me the money to me.

is this jp culture.

Most Japanese girls I have met want to keep the initial dates even. If a girl allows a man to pay too much more than her, she builds a kind of honor debt to that person. Guys love to take advantage of this at the end of the date... "Wait, I paid for everything and you won't let me come to your apartment?"
