Hey, I posted my thousanth post today!! Man, I spend a lot of time here. Take that, Mad P! Our post count was the same there for a while (not that it's a competition or anything ) I'm starting The Thousand Post Club, who's with me?! I feel like I should throw a party or something. This is some kind of milestone, ne?

P.S. I just realized that my anniversary of joining is in four days. That means my average weekly post count is about 18 posts. (Man, I'm a dork for actually figuring all that out. )

Thanks guys. I took a Japanese class in Yokohama with a German Nova teacher. He was a bit older, and I suspect very well qualified, not to mention he spoke perfect English. I'll never figure out how you Germans do it. All the best non-native English speakers I've met have been German.

I don't exactly know but I guess it's that German culture gets very americanized! MTV, American movies, American food, half the internet is English, 80 % of the music is (many German musicians sing in English because America is where you get rich!).

Plus we have to learn English from class 5 to at least 11.

Well I don't know how it looks in different countries. Hm.


I don't want to brag so I will also mention that theres a big part of the German population that's English is horrible or atleast so heavily accented (some just dont care about pronounciation that they just pronounce everything like their talking German) or that doesn't talk English at all.

Congratualtions, Brooker ! I only reached mine because it is so fun here. I'm enjoying the best time of my life, yeah ! If I was anywhere near Seattle, I'd invite to you some beer or sake for that matter. Guess what, we (guess who ?) were just talking about "How nice it would be to move to Seattle and live and breathe where the rain is plentysome...hahaha."
