Japan's virgin wives turn to sex volunteers

during my teaching at a local language institute here, especially in the upper level conversation/writing classes, quite a few ladies were vocal about their frustrated marriages. It appeared that this English class they were taking was a way to let off steam, or a way to put their minds off the serious unhappiness of their married lives.

I experienced this a lot in voice classes at Nova and didn't like it at all. They were so casual about saying things like, "I don't love my husband," in front of a group of strangers and giggling about it. I found it a little appalling. In many cases, they did it to advertise that they were willing to be unfaithful. One of them stalked a teacher who was then transferred to another school to avoid any conflict, at great inconvenience to him.

We need to change this topic title to: "Doc and Japanese Virgin Housewives Need Sex.":D:D:D:D:D:D:D

so many J people take english classes for every reason but a genuine interest in the language, at least thats the impression i get.

Just as many westerners take Japanese for reasons other than their love of the language or the culture! (most men/boys on this forum have different hopes in their mind...or so it seems!)

i wouldnt live in a sexless marriage before 55-60 no matter what the excuses bar medical problems.

Also, why are they saying that Japanese people having fewer children is a bad thing? In America we worry about the population getting too high. Japan's population is already so high, it might not be a bad thing for it to go down a bit.

full story

simply because Japan is an aging country. The population of old people in Japan is MUCH higher than in any other country, (imagine a pyramid of the population, except its tiny at the bottom with the young people, and huge at the top with the old) and soon there are going to be like 1 old person for every 5 young people. Something to that effect. With such a small percentage of young people, who will take care of the elders in Japan?
But anyway, Japanese women these days just don't seem to have the desire to have children, especially once they are past a certain age.

Dear Lord, how did I miss this thread?

:p

Almost too much to reply to. Does this mean that there's alot of people who want to have sex but aren't getting enough? Sounds like nothing new to me. What we need is a new solution to the problem. Aka, send Doc to Japan and he can start a chain of schools, "satisfaction" guaranteed.

For most the men I know....
Sex is like air underwater.... It's not important until you're not getting any.

It is really to bad that people, in any country, get into a relationship and allow the bedroom situation to deteriorate, sometimes very quickly.
I understand all to well what happens when children enter the equation but feel it is temporary obstacle.
I also understand why many of my male aquaintances have stepped out of their marriages from time to time. When the communication (expressing feelings and desires) stops, the bedroom stops and the whole relationship begins to collapse.

I don't believe in ultimatums but at least they portend the path a person may be willing to take... Sleep with me or I will find someone else to do it for you. Some people may welcome that as long as they don't have to see it or hear about it.

That being said, a man, again a generalization of my observations, is predisposed to desireing variety, meaning multiple sexual partners. This is why we look at other women and wonder what they look like naked or what they are like in bed. I love my wife very much and would never step out on her but it doesn't stop me from wondering about other women.

I digress... This may explain a part of the older Japanese mens desire to go to the hostess bars... Although I belive more the idea that Jpanaese men my view their wife as a mother replacement.

A side thought... I really don't understand how the hostess bars stay in business. I don't think they would ever work here in America, that is with American men.
Go to a bar, pay a woman (actually the bar) to sit and talk to you, repeat the visit many times asking for the same girl, bring her gifts, and maybe you will get a number or offer to meet outside the establishment. I know I wouldn't have had the patience to put up with that... I was shocked to hear that we have hostess bars here in SoCal that cator to Japanese business men... Hmmm

I view the idea of the hostesss bar as a place for inept men to buy a relationship (not only/always sex). If they were looking for unattached sexual gratification why not find a prostitute or keep a paid girlfriend on the side? Realize that I am not condoning this, just accepting that it happens in real life... and yes women can do the same thing by going to a host bar or having a kept boyfriend on the side.
