I read an article a little while ago that China had offically agreed to stop returning political refugees to North Korea, where they face certain torture and death. They haven't kept their agreement, which is why people like this guy try to help North Koreans escape to SK or other countries.

You know, I feel really bad for those North Korean refugees. That Japanese man should be commended for what he is doing for those people. The North Korean regime is one of the most brutal in the world. Going anywhere else is like heaven compared to the Stalinist country.
