Japanese Wedding Help

I am getting married in 14 weeks and I have everything set up for a Traditional Japanese Wedding. I have a friend who has offered to play the flute at the wedding. But I cannot seem to find any information on what songs are traditional for weddings. All the resources that I have been able to find have said that music is to be played, however nowhere tells me what music. And any clues as to where to find the sheet music for this? I am finding myseft at my whits end and am throwing myself to the mercy of these forums. I only have 14 weeks till the date and my friend needs at least a month to practice. Any help or leads would be kindly appreciated.

My first wedding in Japan was a traditional Shinto wedding, but there was no music at the ceremony, and at the reception, only that done by the ex's brothers and some of her friends.

Shakuhachi would probably be better than flute, but if you want to have flute, I think it may be hard. . . most flute music here is for festivals. If I can get around to it, I'll try to ask someone.

I'm not an expert on traditional Japanese music to be played at weddings, but, as far as I know, music played weddings these day is a mixture of Western (classical in solemn scenes and popular love ballads in happy moments) and traditional Japanese music (played very often on tape, since professional players in this genre are hard to find even in Japan).
Japanese traditional music (gagaku) does not follow the rules of Western music scoring, and sheet music is probably hard to find.
However, if your friend can play by ear, he may be able to copy from midi files here:

It appears the players here are amateurs.
The music recommended is ﾋ彁窶冓 (Rokudan), which I hear most often and is popular.
窶堋ｳ窶堋ｭ窶堙ｧﾂ、窶堋ｳ窶堋ｭ窶堙ｧ(Sakura, Sakura) may also be good because the melody is nice.
Since you don't need to follow protocol strictly, I'm sure any of the music on this site will do, because they all have titles suggesting good fortune and long life.

To a Japanese person? If you're in a pinch and no one at the ceremony would even know the difference, why not go with something like... a piece from the Last Samurai soundtrack? Otherwise, you can do a search for CDs online and find some traditional flute music and your friend can try to learn from ear.
