Japanese Name Stamps - Hanko/Inkan/Shachihata

It's been an interesting couple of months since our launch! We've been fulfilling orders from all around the world. I expected a lot more orders from the US, but we have had a lot of orders from Europe and Oceania; it seems that internet searches have been our greatest source of traffic. Order volume is still relatively small, but growing.

Due to some customer feedback we added a few new items, including hand-carved rakkan-in (artist chops). We also started carrying some other Japanese products as omiyage to help people get over the threshold for free shipping.

I had a hanko made in Tokyo in 1990, it took some time to have my name "translated" and to find the right kanji. I bought it as a souvenir, I haven't used it much, mainly as a "seal" on letters to good friends and family, and the good news is that I can still use the red ink after 26 years!
