(Yes, the title is a joke...)
I recently bought two cheap Japanese keyboards. While these suckers are purposefully set up to create as many typos as possible with their shear number of keys jammed into one space, if you want to really type in Japanese they are what you want to go for. Thus, I am going to give learning to type Japanese on one of these things a shot.
However, I can't quite figure out how to set it up correctly with my America based Compaq laptop. I'm sure you have to somehow add a Japanese keyboard driver how, but I have never done this, and IME of course is a mangled mess that I don't expect to ever fully comprehend.
Has anyone set up one before in the past and has an idea what to do or where to start? Thanks for any help that is provided.
