Japanese in Boston

I am considering going to college in Boston and I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a good size Japanese population there. I'd like to meet more Japanese people, and I was hoping an urban area might enable me to do that.

It's not what you're asking, but I really suggest simply looking for online friends through a language exchange or something. There's something really creepy about looking to meet people of another specific nationality. If a Japanese came up to you and said they wanted to be friends with an American, you'd probably think it was exciting. But would you feel the same way if a Somalian or a Croatian did the same (for example, I'm thinking of unfashionable nationalities)? It must be a little weird for Japanese staying in America, being approached by novice anime language studiers and white otaku. It's really kind of weird. Look for people who want to meet foreign people, and online is the most normal way to do it.

Thanks for the tip. Obviously I don't mean it in a creepy way. But I can see how that would be perceived. And I'm not really what anyone would call an otaku by any stretch of the imagination. I'm more concerned with learning the language and culture. I do plan on taking Japanese as an elective in college, so I was hoping that I could find some Japanese friends to practice with. Language exchange online is only really good for written language, but spoken language is better suited for face to face interaction.
