Japanese Horror Show From The 80s/90s?

I am trying to find a show I used to watch as a kid. Late 80s or early 90s. It was a horror show kind of like Tales From The Crypt. It always began with an old man talking and there was a cat and the camera went down the stairs. Thats all I remember. Oh, and one episode was when a guy kept eating ramen at a ramen shop and never got full. Does anyone know the name of it. Please let me know thank you!
