Tombstone of Shaku Myōryō Shinnyo (Buddhist name)
"Shaku" is a male title used in Jōdo Shinshū, whereas "Shinnyo" shows that the deceased is a woman. The title should be the female form 釈尼 "Shakuni".

so her given name is Myoryo and surname is Shinnyo? or are these all parts of a Bhuddist name and not birth names?

The latter. "Shaku" and "Shinnyo" are both titles for Buddhist names.

i looked online for deaths in hawaii on this date (27 oct 1900) and found only one. i am looking further into it but couldnt have done it without all your help in translations!

If the surname of the deceased you found is Aoyagi or Aoyanagi, she must be the one who was buried there.

it was Takeda, daugther of F.Takeda on the record i found. still researching
