I'm sure this has been asked many times around the forum but..... what are some good japanese techno and/or electronica groups? im looking for groups that i guess would be comparable to the "chemical brothers" in style, but any suggestions would be great!

o_o well, There is Schwarz Stein. But they aren't like the Chemical Brothers. But they do play techno. Check em' out. :I

Check out this thread for some good suggestions:

Schwartz Stein techno? I'd say it's more electronically driven goth.
Is their first album out yet?

props!
chemical brothers style? lemme think -- are we talking star guitar or b-rockin beats?

I guess you can't go wrong with the Boom Boom Satellites, when it comes to Chem style. Of course it's not the same, but it's in the neighbourhood.

much thanks for the great suggestions,

@budd, ya i guess it would be more like star guitar that would suit me best but whatever its all good

wow, i just finished checking out that link, now i have to find a way save up a ton of money to buy it all

The Polysics. Bottled sugar. ^^ Very very hyper electronica that makes you wanna dance. They aren't Chemical Brothers tho...the Polysics are simply cool electronic.

Does anyone know where I can download the UFO Dance? I reeeeally need it... and I can't even find out who sings it to buy the album!

HELP! x_x;;

I think they've released a "best of" album earlier this year. CD-Japan should have that in stock.

*starts digging*

Ah here it is:

Thank you! *thinks about what else to buy besides that CD so the shipping will be worth it...*

You guys are awesome. I found the song I wanted. Now I'm in search of another song... It's another one I danced to at the language camp.
This one was my favorite because the dance steps were ones I could actually DO.... but no one from the camp seems to know what the song's name is for sure. There's some speculation around "The International Day Dance" but I can't find it under that title.
It was kind of Egyptian sounding.... anyone have the slightest clue of what song I'm talking about?

Anything would be helpful... thanks!
