Japanese, Egyptian, Aztec Connections...?

um hello all Jews are considered Jews racially. except for a small percentage of converts(almost none since we are not allowed to proselytize) and a few from india that were recently discovered but anyone else is almost directly related to abraham, so our religion and race for the most part coincide.
but again for religious debate you i can give you some websites and you can go argue with scholars about it. This is a Japanese forum not jewish. Either that or pm me and i will happily discuss it in private without making anyone else suffer. Not to mention you haven't even stated your religion. It's easy to criticize something you don't understand.

Actually, to all, count my vote on the absolutely, positively self-convinced side that Egyptian-Judaic elements ARE saturated within both the Japanese and Aztecan sides. But I am a cabdriver, the only formula for people to believe is for me to be dead 20 years, then maybe, but probably not then either! I am just glomming on what others have publicized over the last 500 years, along with my gathering of tourist observations I have made on personal visits to Peru and Mexico.

Yes, I believe there are major Judaic-Egyptian influences in the Japanese cultures and Aztecan cultures, and I have been told of many Japanese books haven been written on this subject. I

But it is not important for any of us to "believe" or "not believe", let me just table the theories with the best evidence I can provide, and let the next generation develop better theories.

But again i don't think it has to do with lineage so much as with physics and maybe some thinking patterns that are similar. it's more of a coincidence. I think it has already been genetically disproven. Of course ideas could have traveled through trade or war but i don't see any similarities between Jews and Japanese. It could have something to do with the children of Ketura and why some acupuncture techniques are the same as some spiritual Jewish practices but i doubt there is a deeper connection than that. Besides didn't the Japanese come to Hokkaido from the north? Also any connection in language is probably from our Arab cousins rather than us. Does anyone speak Arabic here? Are there any word similarities from Arabic to Japanese?

It is like the name Hideki Matsui.... plausibly the Hah (Crown of Eternity) Tchaus-Texas-Taisha-Teacher (Divine Chief), Maat (speaks the truth) sui ( protectors -sia), so plausibly means... Divine Chief of Eternity, protector of the truth! Mashu is one of those universal meanings..."Divine truth", "Protectors of the truth".

Now I don't know Hebrew or Yiddish, but maybe you could help me on this in my Egyptian translations. There were Judaic Pharoahs, I am told, probably among the Hyksos Shepherd Kings of the 17th -20 dynasties.

One of the tell-tale signs, correct me if I am wrong, is the shepherd's crook and the flail, signs of the Hyksos, in the Pharoahs crossed arms.

Another clue to me is in the name... Shinto... plausibly "Shee in tee".... "spirit of the sun god"? (I am guessing on this)

But first things first... let me translate 10 cities you name, into their Egyptian equivalent, possibly Aztec meaning, and lets go from there. This might be fun and educational, let's see how far we get, if anywhere.
 
to be quite honest i have no knowledge of egyptian and its not similar to hebrew so i dont know about that.

also i have found support for a theory of the a few of the lost tribes to have gone over to japan.

so while it seams to me possible is still think it would have to do more with this than an actuall crossover by the lost tribes or such.
 
well but you see most of these similarities can be explained away as coincidence. symbols have been used and reused by cultures again and again. words have traveled through trade far further than than by the original people. and some similarities in traditions and festivals can be because of the way the world revolves. Almost every culture had a spring festival or celebrated the equinoxes.
of course it just may be that as a Jew i am seeing the differences more than the connections, But i just have a hard time seeing it. Even the entire focus of the culture is different. Jews celebrate life as the highest honor god gave us whereas the Japanese used to celebrate their death as the highest pinnacle.

yeah so what cab drivers aren't smart or cant have opinions? I'm 16v years old and i love arguing with adults and i refuse to be looked down upon for my age. I am very well read and smart and can argue politics and science with the best of them. Don't put yourself down over something petty like that. In this day and age we all have access to many books and if you are taking the time to argue it must mean you have a good amount of brains.

just because the sound is the same doesn't mean it's necessarily related. Now if the etymology is unknown like the Japanese word daberu i would agree. By the way it means to speak similarly daber in Hebrew means to talk. No known etymology exists so a connection is plausible.

Let me check the explicit hieroglyphics on this...my greatest "re-discoveries" come when I am validly challenged like this. It is too coincidental to me.

There are pyramids in every known stone building culture on earth. It is due to the fact that the pyramidal shape has very good structural integrity as apposed to square buildings so with primitive materials like stone you could build a lot higher with such a structure. They are found all over the world.

Not specifically on topic, I did find some background information on the origins of languages, which I hope some find pertinent.

From my amateurish viewpoint, I see Chinese/Japanese/Korean written languages evolving from the cuneiform versions of the examples, while the pictographic glyphs I found among the Cretans/Hittites evolved towards the Egyptian hieroglyphics, the Cretan, Mayan, Inca glyphs.

What we know of our English written language probably evolved from the Judaic/Greekish/Celtic flavors...of written sound-symbols.

Yeah actually its not common knowledge but the first people to invent writing were the ancient Hebrews.Phoenecians usually get the credit however Phoenician is actually ancient Hebrew and they only get credit for it because they were traders and traveled around more than we did and spread it around.

The word sushi has nothing to do with flowers.
Now it is written 寿司, 鮨 or 鮓 in kanji but it originally came from 酸し, which is an adjective meaning "sour".

As pugtm pointed out again and again, similarity of sounds does not mean the words are sharing the same culture/origin.

Exactly how many cultures have mama as the word for mother? Hebrew its ima, in Russian mama, English mama. Its because that is the first sound learned by infants due to the fact that it is also the easiest sound to make. All same sounds but reason is not cultural interchange or linguistic connections.

Ma-ma...universal name wherein (I believe) it's physical sound and mechanical vibration on the nipple induces milk to secrete from the breast! So ma-ma-ma-ma, the baby is saying...food, food! And the teet secretes!

And the Amerindian name Ma-ma-ro-neck is related I believe to the Dionysian cult Mamallones, a female cult of ??? religious revelers, I truly believe!

But how can any of us know any of this? Can anyone truly believe that the Greek Ogygia is the Amerindian/Polynesian Hawaii? Who is right and who is wrong?

I say everybody is connected to everybody. Japanese show the YAP DNA string back to Greece, and claim Jomon heritage in a percentage of their genetics.

So what is so surprising about names that sound the same, from cultures that are geographically separated from each other? I am not sure what we are disagreeing or agreeing here.

It's "haha". But its pronounciation had changed over centuries - it used to be pronounced "fafa" and "papa" in the past.
I think it is another aspect which has been ignored by those who claim same/similar sound = having the same roots/origin. (Don't you agree?)
Comparing modern words/sounds to seek for the origin does not make sense.
