Japanese blog sites in English

Could anyone of you here lend me some good Japanese blog sites written in English? I just wanted to know about the country and its culture as well.. Thanks!👍
 
Are these mix in Japanese and English？ Or Japanese alone？ I couldn't read some though xD
 
I didn't look through that many but I think some are a mix of Japanese and English. Anybody can register their blog on that site so it could be a Japanese person writing a diary in English for practice, or an English speaker living in Japan.

Blogmura is also very useful if you want to find blogs written in Japanese on a specific topic, like "gardening blogs in Japanese" or something.
 
That's what a blog is: a personal narrative of an individual's experiences, online and public. If you want to learn more about Japan, why don't you resort to books? A lot of free literature on Japan is available for free on the internet.

I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, but I went through the whole list and if I'm honest I have to admit that it's quite horrible!

The majority of the blogs haven't been updated in YEARS! I think nobody wants to follow blogs that are dead.
About 20-30% of the blogs listed don't exist anymore!

If you have some time you really should update the list and throw out all the blogs that are either completely gone or not updated anymore.

I admit that I haven't checked most of them in years. We check links every week in terms of accessability, but not in terms of updates. Some of the older blogs - even if no longer updated - still contain useful content, so I'm reluctant to prune them.

Anyhow, thanks again, I'll roll up my sleeves! :)
 
And please send me links if there are new updates as I'am so much willing to follow Japanese blogs.. xD
 
This morning, I deleted about 40 percent of all entries. I was surprised to see how many of the big blog sites have disappeared/were abandonded ... felt like traveling back in time ... 懐かしい.

Now I need to go and check who's all the rage, apart from ZJ! :)

It's "Tofugu", not "Tofugo" ;)

(I think you meant "enryo naku" instead of "enryo naka", though).

Type in "search" on Facebook , "Japan" or "Japanese". There are tons of great pictures and info there to do with Japan.
