I think a lot of cases are infected by those celebrities as well. People look up to them and reading they did it might have made them feel they can as well, sadly
 
I think part of the issue, compared to some other countries, is how Japanese view suicide and how they view getting help for emotional/mental issues. Viewing suicide as acceptable, and even admirable in some circumstances and viewing getting help as shameful doesn't help the matter.
