This is clipped from a movie, that's a local cycle path a week or two ago. Very windy that day! Hard to ride, but the wind in the grass was mesmerizing.

What red statue is that? Buddha?Cycling along the Tamagawa and the Asagawa today, I visited Takahata Fudōson Kongōji (高幡不動尊金剛寺) in Hino. It's the family temple of Hijikata Toshizō, a buddy of Kondō Isami, a fellow commander of the Shinsengumi.
