Hi Everyone!!

I've been browsing around JREF for a while now, so I thought it time to chime in and introduce myself. Let me tell you a little bit about me...

My name is Colin, I'm Japanese-American and I have a great interest in Japanese culture and society. I took two years of Japanese language in high school (better than nothing!) and have studied independently (on and off) for the last couple years. My dream is to become fluent in Japanese and live in Japan. It's a hard goal but I believe I will achieve it (and great resources like this forum will help!).

I just got back from a trip to Japan. It was all great The "Practical" section of this forum was particularly helpful to me when I was planning my trip. It was so useful, in fact, that I didn't need to really ask any questions of my own!

Anyway, I can get fairly busy sometimes so I hope that I can contribute on a routine basis and help make the forum that much better than it already is.

Greetings there colin !! It's nice to have another great member in the clan. I'm also a bit new, and have enjoyed it to the max. I hear you on the time number--I mean, I'm not so fast on the keyboard, and the time goes fast. I'm on vacation now, so can do that, but wonder about when the Autumn semester kicks in. (I teach EFL at a local university)
