Is this sentence a comparison?(比較)

私は別にダンスをしているわけではないのです。だからこそ、この人がこの動画をきっかけに評価されるようになっているのをみて、他の踊りはともかくとしてこのダンスが本当に評価されてしかるべきレベルなのか気になってしまいました。


From 他の踊りand beyond, what is 他の踊りはともかく, doing there(if its doing anything at all)? Is it being compared to このだんす? If not isnt it 蛇足?

〜はともかくとして/〜はさておき are the phrases meaning "putting xxx aside". So it is not comparison but rather focusing on "this particular dance".
