Hi everybody,

I'm soon going to Tokyo and this time a very good Japanese friend insists I use his family apartment. I guess and I'm quite sure there is no internet connection as nobody is living their. That's why I want to ask if it's possible to buy a mobile internet prepaid card "USB drive" from a telecom provider in Tokyo?

In Switzerland I can buy such an internet prepaid card "USB drive". Well! It's a mobile phone number, you just stick USB drive in notebook for internet surf. In ATM the mobile phone number is rechargeable by using bank card. There is an option called recharge mobile phone number. Day surfing price varies between different local providers between 5 - 7 Swiss francs.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi nekojita,
Thank you very much. Really much appreciated. I will take a look and check offers of these links.
Cheers

Did anyone here have first-hand experience with Japan-Wireless.com? I read they're quite good (and cheap) so ordered a Mi-Wi for our forthcoming trip.
