Question Is there a way to request someone to appear in THE FIRST TAKE ?

do indies ever appear in THE FIRST TAKE ( not bound to a company / label )? i am a fan of an artist that has the potential to make it big. they used to be a pro but now goes by a new identity as a solo indie, this opportunity might boost their growth greatly.
