Is my sentence correct?

I think you have understood that you need to change the sentence structure, not just the words.
But you haven't quite got the right sentence structure

Japanese structure in one of its most basic forms = Subject + object + verb. In this case, "good shoes" is the object.
 
And when you have a noun that's modified by an adjective, the adjective goes before of the noun

hot tea, 暑いお茶、あついおちゃ
tall mountain, 高い山、たかいやま
long hair, 長い髪、ながいかみ
