Hello,
I just created and submitted an App for the iPad / iPhone / iTouch to help with studying called iLearnFast.
While the app is a general study tool, it was designed with studying languages in mind, and it has special features for studying Kana and Kanji. You can find it in the App store by searching for "iLearnFast".
If you would like to read more about how the App works, click on the "iLearnFast support" link just above the screenshots, and to see the Japanese specific features, please visit the support page and scroll down a bit and click on the "Using iLearnFast with Japanese" link.
Sorry for not adding direct links, but being a new member to this forum, I am not yet allowed to do so.
Some of the Japanese specific features include animated stroke order diagrams as well as easy importing techniques for importing kanji into your study sets.
I'm using the App for my family's language studies in Japanese and Spanish, and I hope that others find it useful as well.
As I just submitted the App, it may be a little rough around the edges and the documentation may need some more work. If you do download the App and have any questions or run into any issues, please send me an email (there is a link from the settings page in the App). I am especially interested in anything that people find confusing about the App as my goal is to make the App as easy to use as possible.
I plan to continue to make major improvements to the App, and I hope to make everyone who uses that App a happy customer. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks!
Ron
