I enjoy talking with people from anywhere in the world, especially about philosophy, and what it is like to live in their country. I own a printing business which would be somewhat easy to move to any location in the world, since it is completely Internet-based. I would only need reliable mail service to ship out my products, so I am looking around at other countries that may be of interest to me. I've lived in Canada, Alaska, Mexico, and everywhere in the Continental US (western half), in the cities and in the remote areas. I wrote for national magazines for many years, so my English is very good. I have often wondered if I would enjoy teaching English, but cannot know until I've tried it. I have also worked as an editor, and I know that I do enjoy correcting faulty text! I've worked as a commercial fisherman (sharks, salmon, halibut, crab, herring, shellfish), as an industrial diver, pilot, truck driver, for the government, as a writer, on ranches, as a horse-shoer, horse trainer, cowboy, in factories and mills, as a tugboat captain, logger, and many other things, so I can provide a broad-based knowledge and discussion of life in America. I'd like to hear from people anywhere who are intelligent, and who speak at least passable English. I apologize that I know no other language. I like to hear from people who really THINK about life and philosophies and governments and living styles and crime and relationships and work and careers and opportunities and ---. I'm not sure I have figured out how to use the forums on this board, so any replies should probably be sent to my email address, which I've enabled.
